Program Overviews

Preschool Program:

The Butterhill Day School’s curriculum has been designed to develop basic concepts, attitudes and skills, as well as to capitalize on each child's creativity. The development of your child's self-esteem and confidence is extremely important. To build a broad foundation for your child's success as a student, our attentive staff focuses on these essential early childhood skills.

During the first weeks of school, children will get to know one another, and we establish some school routines and a few rules. Our readiness activities will mark our entry into the wonderful world of colors, shapes, numbers and letters. We will be singing, painting, drawing, scribbling and playing.
